I went to Borders???

Yes.
I went book shopping. That is rare for me. I am not the person who loves to read books. However, there are those few books I want to read. As I read Sex God, by Rob Bell, loaned to me by my pastor, it inspired me to go and read more Rob Bell. I went to Christian Supply and bought myself Jesus Wants to Save Christians. I had waited 3 weeks to get it because they had a coupon for 40% off so I used it and bought it. I then thought to myself, I wonder if Borders has Velvet Elvis. I decided that I would go into Borders and see what they had. As I started looking, a worker approached me. He asked if i needed help looking for anything. His voice was sort of hard to hear and understand, but I was able to hear him. I asked him if they had Rob Bell books in, so we went to the computer to see what they had. As I walked with him, he has sort of a limp, and I was not sure what it was and I would of felt bad asking him. We searched on the computer and it said the store had it in stock. We went and found it and he asked me about it and who recommended it to me. I told him that my pastor recommended it to me and that it would change my life. He then asked me what church I went to, and I told him Rolling Hills. I usually don't get in to talks about church and religion with people I meet in public. It's rare that happens to me. I told him that I was reading Sex God, and that it talks about the endless connections between sexuality and spirituality. He stood there for a second, processing what I had said. I also told him that I just bought Jesus Wants to Save Christians and that it was next on my books to read by Rob Bell. He then asked me what religion I was, and I told him I was a follower of Jesus Christ. He said that he went to church and I forgot where he went, but it was cool talking to him about it. He told me about a book by Frank Peretti, and showed me it. It was a fiction book but about religion. I don't remember the name off the top of my head, but it actually looked interesting. He said it was a good book and if I get the chance to read it, I should. I was going to talk to him more but he had to help another customer. As he said it was nice to meet me, he told me that he hopes to see me again. As I heard him say that, I was a little bit puzzled at first. But at the same time, I thought to myself, "I don't know this guy at all but he seems like he has a heart for God." From my view, he was the only person working within the Christianity and religion section of Borders. I thought that was amazing, because when you see people, some live double lives. Some people are Christians on Sunday's and other people on weekdays. It's like "lets be good today and not the others." The way I saw it was he wants to live out his life for God no matter what. That's what I want to try and do in life. Live for God each and every day I am alive. But remember, nobody is perfect.
